Why join Radon Connect
Most radon lead sources sell the same homeowner to everyone who will pay for them, then let the contractors sort it out on the phone. That model produces a race to the bottom on price and a lot of wasted drive time, and experienced mitigation businesses learn to avoid it.
This network is built the other way around, and the design choices below are the reason.
A qualified request, not a form fill
Homeowners work through a multi-step process before anything reaches a contractor. They report their radon result band, whether a real-estate transaction is involved, their timeline, property type, foundation type, and the property ZIP — which resolves deterministically against the territory list rather than being matched by guesswork.
Requests dispatch when the reported result is at or above 4 pCi/L, or between 2 and 4 with an active transaction. Below-2 results, untested homes, and consideration-band requests with no transaction are not dispatched. That filtering happens before your phone rings.
A capped roster instead of an auction
A qualified request goes to no more than three contractors covering that county. The roster per territory is capped rather than sold to everyone who will pay, because a lead shared eleven ways is not a lead — it is an invitation to discount.
What this is not is exclusivity. Nobody here will tell you a territory is yours alone, and nobody will invent a lead count to win a signature. The cap is a limit on competition, not a promise of volume.
You keep your business
This platform does not perform testing, inspection, or mitigation, does not subcontract work, and does not take a percentage of your contract. The homeowner contracts directly with you. Your pricing, your scheduling, your scope, your warranty terms, your relationship.
Compensation is per referral, and it is disclosed to homeowners on every page of the site rather than buried in a footer. There is no application fee, no monthly platform charge, and no long-term contract.
Honest coverage, in both directions
When a homeowner enters a ZIP outside a covered territory, the form tells them plainly that it is not covered rather than routing them somewhere approximate. That honesty is the reason homeowners trust the result, and it is also why the requests you receive are actually in your service area.
The same standard applies to you. Claim only counties you will genuinely drive to, and if homeowners in a county consistently report no response, that county comes off your coverage rather than continuing to route into silence.
Why join Radon Connect: contractor questions
How many leads will I get?
Nobody here will quote you a number, because doing so honestly would require predicting homeowner demand in your county, and any figure offered before that demand exists is a sales claim rather than a forecast. What can be described precisely is the model: qualified requests only, no more than three contractors per request, capped rosters per territory, and per-referral compensation.
What does it cost to join?
There is no application fee, no monthly platform charge, and no long-term contract. Compensation is per referral. That structure means the network only earns when it actually sends you a qualified homeowner, which is the alignment most contractors are looking for after a bad experience with subscription lead products.
Do I have to use your paperwork, pricing, or scheduling system?
No. You are an independent business and the introduction is where our involvement ends. You quote your own price, use your own contract and warranty, schedule on your own calendar, and own the customer relationship entirely.
More for contractors
- Lead qualification process — Six checks every request passes before a contractor sees it.
- Territory philosophy — County-level territories, capped rosters, and honesty about exclusivity.
- Lead quality standards — What every request meets, what is filtered out, and what is not promised.
- Apply to join — What to send, how verification works, and what happens next.
State requirements
Credentialing and disclosure rules differ by state, and each state page states the credential we verify before routing anything to you.
If you run a credentialed mitigation business and you are tired of bidding against six other firms for the same form fill, the capped-roster model is worth a conversation.
