How homeowners are verified
Verification claims in lead generation are frequently overstated, so this page is precise about what actually happens before a request routes — and equally precise about what does not.
Overstating this would be the fastest way to lose the trust of the contractors the network depends on.
What is verified
The property ZIP is resolved deterministically against the territory index. Either it maps to exactly one covered territory or it does not, and if it does not the homeowner is told so rather than routed approximately. That check is structural rather than probabilistic.
Form input is validated before submission: required fields, email and phone format, and the qualification answers that drive dispatch. Incomplete submissions do not become requests.
Consent is captured explicitly, with an unchecked box and the referral disclosure directly above it. The homeowner has affirmatively agreed that their information goes to up to three independent licensed contractors and that the platform may be compensated for the referral.
What is self-reported
The radon result band, the transaction context, the timeline, the property type, and the foundation type come from the homeowner. They are the answers that drive qualification, and they are exactly as reliable as any homeowner-reported information.
Nobody here inspects a test report before routing. A contractor should expect to confirm the reading during the first conversation, because the homeowner may have measured the wrong level, tested under broken conditions, or be describing a number from years ago.
What is deliberately not claimed
There is no identity verification, no credit check, no phone-number validation beyond format, and no confirmation of property ownership. Claiming any of those would be inventing a capability that does not exist.
There is also no promise that every routed homeowner will answer their phone. Contactability is a real problem in every referral channel, and a network that promises otherwise is not describing reality.
Why the honesty is the point
A contractor who is told requests are fully verified and then reaches three voicemails learns quickly that the claim was marketing. A contractor who is told exactly what is checked and what is self-reported can price their own effort accordingly.
The same standard governs the homeowner side of the platform, where an uncovered ZIP gets an honest refusal rather than a routed guess. Consistency in both directions is the product.
Homeowner verification: contractor questions
Are radon test results verified before routing?
No. The result band is self-reported by the homeowner and drives whether the request dispatches. Confirming the actual reading — what level was measured, over what duration, under what conditions — is part of your first conversation, and it is frequently the most valuable thing you do on that call.
How do you handle obviously bad submissions?
Format and completeness validation catches the mechanical cases before submission. Beyond that, if a contractor reports a pattern of unreachable or clearly non-genuine requests from a territory, that is a signal worth investigating rather than something to be defended. Tell us; the feedback is more useful than a complaint about lead quality in the abstract.
Will homeowners know I am being compensated for the referral?
Yes, and that is deliberate. The referral disclosure appears on every page of the site and directly above the consent box the homeowner checks. They know the model before they submit, which means the first conversation you have is not the one where they discover it.

State requirements
Credentialing and disclosure rules differ by state, and each state page states the credential we verify before routing anything to you.
ZIP resolution and consent are verified structurally. Result band and property details are self-reported and worth confirming on the call. Nothing else is claimed, because nothing else is checked.
