Discharge guidance places the outlet above the roofline and away from windows, doors, and air intakes, so that discharged gas disperses rather than re-entering the building.
A discharge terminating at low level or beside an opening can put the same gas back where it came from, which defeats the purpose of moving it.
Why this matters

- The system concentrates soil gas and moves it; where it releases determines whether that is an improvement.
- Re-entrainment through a nearby window or intake is a recognised failure mode rather than a theoretical one.
